- "The Inventory of Conflict & Environment" of the American University (Washington, D.C.) provides a database with more than 100 case studies in the field of environmental conflict: http://www.american.edu/TED/ice/ice.htm.
- The Pacific Institute maintains an online database with a special focus on water and climate with more than 3000 topics: http://www.pacinst.org/biblio/index.php.
- The "Environment & Security Database" of the Peace & Conflict Studies Program of the University of Toronto contains more than 20000 entries. However, it was last updated in December 2001: http://link.library.utoronto.ca/pcs/search.cfm.
